NICU Walls Of Hope: University of Colorado Hospital NICU

We're so excited about our 2nd NICU Wall of Hope Project with University of Colorado Hospital NICU. It's close to being completed and will be going up on the walls of UCH's NICU soon. Thank you to our Colorado volunteer Kelsey with Kelsey Bigelow Photography for her beautiful photographs of many sweet little NICU graduates from UCH! We'll keep you posted on the status!

NICU Walls of Hope features donated art from Preemie Prints to line the hallway or inside walls of a NICU. Along with the management staff of the hospital, it is our hope that these colorful heartwarming images will offer support to families facing a very difficult and tragic time. Having a baby in the NICU for any amount of time is scary, even if only for a few days, but sadly many families will face very long stays in the NICU. Though there will be many happy endings, some journeys will end with tragic loss. During this emotional heart wrenching time, parents will be able to look upon faces of NICU graduates who faced this same start in life. We hope parents will gain strength by mediating on the smiles of these children - remembering they are not alone. No matter the outcome of a baby's NICU journey, parents need to be hopeful, empowered, and supported. It is our mission to do just that through the Preemie Prints NICU Wall Of Hope program.

Preemie Prints NICU Wall Of Hope At S&W

Yesterday we had our viewing of our 1st NICU Wall Of Hope at the new Scott & White hospital in Bryan College Station.

The NICU wall of hope features art from Preemie Prints. Along with the management staff, it is our hope that these colorful heartwarming images of NICU miracles will offer support to families facing a very difficult and sometimes tragic time. Each picture is a photograph of a baby in the NICU or a NICU graduate, many whom have graduated from S&W NICU in Temple and other locations in Texas.

We thank the volunteer photographers and the families who have shared photos of their baby - to inspire and share hope with current NICU parents. Together we are making a difference in the lives of NICU families. Our 2nd NICU Wall Of Hope is currently in the works and will be located at The University Of Colorado NICU.

Having a baby in the NICU for any amount of time is scary, even if only for a few days, but sadly many families will face very long stays in the NICU. Though there will be many happy endings, some journeys will undoubtably end with tragic loss. Inside the walls of Bryan College Station's S&W neonatal intensive care unit - many tiny babies will fight for their life with their families standing by their side. During this emotional heart wrenching time, these parents will be able to look upon faces of NICU graduates who faced this same start in life. We hope these images will help parents gain strength to make it through another day, fighting alongside their little one and remembering they are not alone.

No matter the outcome of a baby's NICU journey, parents need to be hopeful, empowered, and supported. It is our mission to do just that through our many programs, which now include NICU Walls Of Hope.

Here are a few pictures from the viewing.

NICU Wall Of Hope

We're so excited to partner with the new Scott & White Hospital NICU in College Station, Tx. Preemie Prints has donated photographs of a few of our precious NICU graduates to the hospital. These pictures will line the wall to the entrance of the NICU. By providing these images, our goal is to inspire strength in NICU families, share hope with them, and bring them a smile during a very difficult time. Our prayer is that these images of NICU graduates will help them to remember that their little fighter needs them by their side. No matter the outcome of a parent's NICU journey, they need to be inspired to stay positive and have hope while they are there. This is what our entire mission encompasses - sharing hope with NICU families. Providing hospitals with a "NICU WALL OF HOPE" is just one other way we are reaching out to parents.

We are thankful to these beautiful families & our volunteers for joining with us to share hope through photography & inspire current NICU families who have babies born prematurely or critically ill. Without our amazing and talented volunteers we could not carry out our mission. Each and every photographer who has been called to share hope through our organization is making a difference in the lives of many.

We're currently working with another hospital in Colorado and will hopefully be partnering with them soon on another NICU Wall Of Hope.

We thank you for your support. Please donate by typing in any amount in the box below. Your donation will help to support our efforts and help us continue our beautiful mission. We can't do it without you!
