Please enjoy Preemie Prints' families’ inspirational story & photos.
Consider supporting our mission to share hope with families who have a baby born prematurely or critically ill. We thank our supporters, Preemie Prints volunteers, and donors for allowing us to continue touching the lives of NICU, preemie, and angel families.

We pray these special memories from Preemie Prints

they were in overcoming their NICU journey together.

A NICU STORY | THOUGHTS FROM MOM
“Benjamin Lev was born September 3, 2015 at 2 pounds 3.3 ounces. He arrived at 26.5 weeks of gestation and has proven himself to be a determined and feisty baby.

Although he was born nearly 14 weeks early, he has come a long way.  In this photo shoot, he was around 9 pounds and now at home is more than 12.  He had PDA ligation surgery in early November and had an inguinal hernia repaired in December.  He spent his first 6 weeks of life on a ventilator and and then another 12 or so on oxygen through nasal cannula.  All in, he spent 147 days in the NICU.  We were delighted to find the Preemie Prints flyer and had a wonderful experience doing this with Jen.  We are supremely grateful for her hard work and talent.”

A Note From Jen:

“I loved working with Ben and his family!  They were so loving towards each other and it really shows in the photos.  Ben has been through quite a bit in his four months of life, and it was wonderful to see him thriving.  The best moment of our session was when he picked his head up while in "tummy time:" he was so proud of himself!  Can't wait to work with this family in the future!”

A NICU STORY | THOUGHTS FROM MOM
“Jaxson Lee was born at 24 weeks 6 days. He was 1 lb 8 oz that day and only 13 inches. He is up to 2 lb 2 oz and managed to trade in his ventilator for a cpap!! He still has a long way to go, but he is feisty as his nurses have called him since day one.

When Jaxson was born we were very scared he wouldn't breathe being so early. He was ventilated very quickly that day and at only 1 lb 8 oz very tiny. His skin was cherry red and thin. He has now made it to 1 month and to the cpap with which he is doing very well. We finally even got to hear cries yesterday which were more like squeaks. Everyday is a blessing with him and everyday is a constant worry, but he is a feisty little boy and continues to amaze us with his progress. So hopefully with many prayers and blessings he will come home soon!!”

A Note From Denise:

“I was able to meet Jaxson & his mom on their 136th day in the NICU.  He has been quite the little fighter & has overcome many obstacles during their NICU journey.  Despite the challenges they have faced, Jaxson's mom has a great attitude & is looking forward to taking her sweet baby home! He is a night owl, so he slept through most of the session, but we did get a couple of shots with his bright eyes open!”
