Meet Vick & Vince! Their NICU Grad Photo Shoot

Please enjoy Preemie Prints' families’ inspirational story & photos.
Consider supporting our mission to share hope with families who have a baby born prematurely or critically ill. We thank our supporters, Preemie Prints volunteers, and donors for allowing us to continue touching the lives of NICU, preemie, and angel families.

We pray these special memories from Preemie Prints
will help families heal and remember how strong
they were in overcoming their NICU journey together.

A NICU STORY | THOUGHTS FROM MOM
“I am a Mother of twin boys. Vick and Vince. God blessed me with them on 9/27/2014. Vick weighed 2 lbs 12 oz and Vince 2 lbs 7 oz.. They were due on Dec 24/2014. They were born at 28 weeks. They were pretty early . It was a great shock because my water broke.

My Journey in the NICU was unlike any other. It was tough to see my sweet little ones on CPAP. They stayed on high pressure for 3 weeks. Followed by terrible spit up. One day there was weight gain and the other was something else.. We stayed in the NICU for 95 good days. One thing that kept us going were prayers and encouragement from the wonderful nurses. They were ready to answer all my questions even the ones that I repeated every day.

My dear NICU families, always know that you are not alone, the journey is tough and can be long, but the reward is you leaving with your sweet baby on that sweet day. All I can say is ask as many questions as you can, get informed, read and understand all the paper work they give you. Create good relationship with the NICU team; those are the people who know your child the most. Spend a night or 2 with your baby before you go home; it helps you to understand that baby is ok and will be ok when you go home. Take as many pictures as you can. God Bless you all.”

A Note From Beth:

“I had a great time with them and their mother, Maureen, was beyond sweet.  She was so grateful to me for doing this for her and it made it all the more special.”

The family request from can be found on the right side of our website. These sessions are free of charge and for any NICU family, regardless of time spent in the NICU. The NICU photo shoot can take place inside the NICU or after baby is discharged and at home until their 1st birthday.
