Sweet Malcolm's NICU Photo Shoot

Please enjoy our inspirational photos and consider supporting our mission to share hope with families who have a baby born prematurely or critically ill. Our programs include an online support group, the gift of photography, group events and meetings, information, and email support. Our mission is to connect parents and let them know they are not alone. We thank our supporters, volunteers, and donors for allowing us to touch the lives of NICU, preemie, and angel families.

We pray these special memories will help the parents to remember how strong they were in overcoming a crisis situation.

A note from Mom:
"Malcolm was born at full term, and we were expecting to bring home a healthy baby boy. Instead, he was diagnosed with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia shortly after birth and was airlifted four hours away from home. After spending 8 weeks in the NICU, enduring two major surgeries and learning how tot breathe and eat on his own, our sweet boy is finally coming home with us. His strength has amazed us every step of the way."

A note from Rachel:
"When I walked into Malcolm's room the first thing I noticed was his shirt and the superhero picture on the wall. This was perfect for this sweet boy, because he is a true superhero. This shoot was great, because Malcolm was going home. He had been through a lot, but they were finally taking him home. Mom and Dad were so sweet and to watch them with Malcolm just touched my heart. This couple is so strong. Malcolm was born in Springfield, Missouri and flown to Children's shortly after birth. As a mom myself I can't imagine being 4 hours away form my baby. They stayed strong and look and this sweet boy now! The stained glass window was his favorite toy in the NICU, so we had to get a picture of him looking at it."
