A NICU STORY | THOUGHTS FROM MOM
“Edwin was born at 28 weeks he weigh 1349 grams. He was born on 1/6/15 at Scott and White.
I had an emergency C-section. It was hard for me because I got to hold him for a few minutes before they transferred him to Temple. I went into depression because I would see him two days a week after they transferred him back to College Station. But me and my boyfriend had faith that everything was going to be ok with him and it did At first its hard because you don’t get to take your baby home and you get worried about what if something happens to him, but the nurses and doctors are checking up on him. He got discharged on March 8 2015. I was and still am excited that I can finally have him home with me and my family.”
A Note From Sloane:
“Edwin was a trooper during our photo shoot! He is such a little cowboy and looked so cute in his hat! You can tell that he is the apple of his mommy and daddy's eyes!”
