We pray these special memories from Preemie Prints

they were in overcoming their NICU journey together.
A NICU STORY | THOUGHTS FROM MOM
“I was on bed rest at the hospital for 6.5 weeks prior to delivery. The babies came at 34 weeks. This is my second set of twins in under a year. My daughter had a lot of trouble breathing and eating. She even had to come home on a monitor. She was there for 27 days. Her brother had trouble with eating and controlling his temperature. He was there 9 days.
Just remember they are ok where they are. Sometimes you need a break to rest. If you’re not well you cannot take care of your babies. Also it's totally ok to cry. I cried coming and going from the NICU."
"You are NEVER alone in this journey."
Abigail & Everett’s photo session was taken and donated by Preemie Prints volunteer photographer, Kalyn Price.
A Note From Kalyn:
“These babies were very spunky and energetic! They loved the cake and loved the bath after even more! Mom had had two set's of twins with in two years (this is the second set! Everett was scheduled to have surgery the day after our shoot and mom said that it helped her handle the stress a little better having something fun to go do the day before. They were really lovely to work with.”

The family request from can be found on the right side of our website. These sessions are free of charge and for any NICU family, regardless of time spent in the NICU. The NICU photo shoot can take place inside the NICU or after baby is discharged and at home until their 1st birthday.
