Each year we count on our annual Preemie Prints Little Monsters 5K/3K to help us keep Preemie Prints running. Since we are busy mothers running this organization, we don't have time to put together more fundraisers to help. Although the Little Monsters 5K/3K continues to grow each year, so do our needs and expenses. Therefore, any additional donations or help offered by other groups, individuals, or businesses helps us tremendously.
IUGR has truly become a partner to our organization, and we want to spread the word about their work and group. So please help us offer our support by sharing this post or letting someone who may have an IUGR baby know that there is a wonderful support group out there for them.
About IUGR:
Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) refers to a condition in which an unborn baby is smaller than it should be because it is not growing at a normal rate inside the womb. Delayed growth puts the baby at risk of certain health problems during pregnancy, delivery, and after birth.
The IUGR Support Group is a resource/support group for parents or soon to be parents (and loved ones) of an IUGR baby/child. It is a safe place to ask questions, share information, stories, updates, and reassurance to others who may receive an IUGR diagnosis. Hearing this diagnosis is scary, but we are here to help and support each other through the journey. We can be found at www.facebook.com/iugrawareness and https://www.facebook.com/groups/iugrsupportgroup/
Thank you again IUGR Support Group for what you do, and for supporting what we do. Many blessings from Preemie Prints!
