Amazing Twins! Preemie Prints NICU Grad Photo Shoot

Please enjoy Preemie Prints' families’ inspirational story & photos.
Consider supporting our mission to share hope with families who have a baby born prematurely or critically ill. We thank our supporters, Preemie Prints volunteers, and donors for allowing us to continue touching the lives of NICU, preemie, and angel families.

We pray these special memories from Preemie Prints
will help families heal and remember how strong
they were in overcoming their NICU journey together.

A NICU STORY | THOUGHTS FROM MOM
“I gave birth to my set of twins on 3/8/14 by c section due to twin A being breeched. I went into the hospital that morning not being able to breath. My blood pressure was high and they then told me I had pre-eclamcia. I was 35 weeks when I delivered. I had a girl and a boy. My little girl (Arie) weighed 4lbs 9ozs and my little boy (Tristin) weighed 5lbs 7ozs.

After they took the babies out they went straight to the NICU and I got put to sleep for an emergency exploratory surgery due to my intestines being pushed into my uterus from the scar tissue from previous surgeries. So I didn't get to experience the first 6 days of my babies stay in the NICU. Once I got out of ICU, myself, and was able to visit them they were doing good but were not eating on their own so they both were being fed with the feeding tubes. Tristin stayed in for 2 weeks and Arie was in there for 3 weeks.”

A Note From Megan:
"Our session was wonderful! Tristin and Arie are just adorable! This was my first time photographing two babies that age and they did great. I just adore their curly hair and sweet personalities! It's always so awesome to see these NICU graduates so healthy and happy. The whole family was a pleasure to work with and I wish them well in the future!"
